Volunteer Open House

Open Houses are typically scheduled in the fall and winter. Please check back in summer/fall 2021. During COVID-19 restrictions, we offered events on Zoom.

Are you interested in joining Kalmar Nyckel's volunteer sailing crew? Sign up for a VIRTUAL Volunteer Open House to learn more! We'll meet on ZOOM for a 90-minute orientation.

• Captain Sharon will show you around the ship and Copeland Maritime Center including workshops and education exhibits.
• We will review plans for our 2021 volunteer crew training class which is planned to run from March 6 to May 8 (online registration required) with virtual and outdoor/live components at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation's Copeland Maritime Center, 1124 E. 7th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
• Pre-registration required to get a private Zoom link.
