In the summer of 2013 our Senior Historian and Education Director, Samuel Heed, was nominated for the 2013 Rodel iEducate Delaware award, a great honor in the education community. We are thrilled to announce Sam won this award, with the help of everyone who continuously voted for him, and the foundation received a grant for future education programing. It has been a gratifying journey to this point building the school programs we have offered and will be offering to the children of the Delaware Valley, sharing our unique maritime and colonial history.
