Hal Taylor
A long time graphic artist, Hal Taylor has been inspired by the
Delaware River to combine art, history, and writing. His illustrated regional
book series includes: The Illustrated Delaware River: The History of a
Great American River, Before Penn: An Illustrated History of the Delaware River
Colonies, and his latest effort: ARTIFACTS: An Illustrated
Treasury of Delaware Valley History.
Lecture Series
For thirteen years, the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation's annual Lecture Series has brought world-class scholars and speakers to the greater Delaware community as part of our mission "to preserve and promote the cultural and maritime heritage of Delaware and the Delaware Valley for the education and enrichment of all."
