Come sail with us! Kalmar Nyckel offers river cruises, day sails, and appearances from May through October in 2021. The ship's schedule is subject to change without notice due to the nature of the weather and conditions beyond our control.
Our ship is not wheelchair accessible. Please call us before you purchase your tickets to see if we can accommodate your needs at 302-429-7447.
Safe Sailing During COVID
- All passengers should bring a mask if they want to participate in ship activities like hauling lines (in brief but close quarters).
- If you are fully vaccinated, masks are optional indoors and outdoors.
- Individuals aged 2 and up, who are not fully vaccinated should wear a mask in our building.
- Do not sail if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who has been sick or tested positive for COVID-19.
- Bring hand sanitizer and wear weather-appropriate clothes. Hand sanitizer is available.
- Our crew may come within 6 feet of passengers to operate the ship safely.
- Drinks and snacks may be purchased on the ship or brought with you.
- We are sailing with reduced capacity for the safety of all involved.
May 2021 Zone Sails in Wilmington: Available only by phone: 302-429-7447, Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm
- Sails are limited to 25 passengers grouped in 5 Zones (diagram above), with 2-5 people per Zone for social distancing.
- Minimum purchase 2 tickets at $40 per ticket.
- Groups will rotate so that everyone gets the full experience.
- Ship crew may pass closer than 3 feet to operate the ship safely.
June 2021 Sails and Cruises: We are limiting sails to 25 passengers (51% capacity), no Zones. Purchase online or by phone. If any tickets are available, they may be purchased at the dock, prior to a sail.
